Design Brief – Fakir Hausgeräte SelfTea
This project aims to develop a new generation of automatic tea makers under the Fakir brand, exploring two product types: Mechanical Automatic Tea Maker and Electronic Automatic Tea Maker.
The Mechanical Automatic Tea Maker functions based on the amount of water filled manually. It uses a manual lock mechanism during the brewing process and operates by pumping water through boiling. It supports 360° rotational use, offers both boiling and keep-warm temperature settings, and is controlled manually via physical buttons on the device.
In contrast, the Electronic Automatic Tea Maker enables more advanced user control. The desired water amount is selected through a digital interface, and an automatic lock mechanism activates during brewing. Water is pumped or stopped using a pump or valve system. The product supports multiple temperature settings and allows for remote operation via a mobile application.
Both types prioritize 360° rotatable usability, illuminated feedback, and ergonomic design. Material variations such as Glass-Glass, Metal-Metal, and Glass-Metal are included to meet different aesthetic and functional needs.
This brief outlines the foundation for creating innovative, user-friendly, and stylish tea makers that align with Fakir’s design language and quality standards.
